Wondersite is a labyrinth of artistic wonders encased in an organic haphazard superstructure named Purlieu, conceived by Australian artist, Marley Dawson. Hundreds of individual planks together make one enormous singular structure, evoking both the natural and fantastical. From outside it seems near impossible to get in, but at certain points paths open up and meander through, leading to clearings where artworks patiently await discovery.

Nestled deep within Wondersite lives a cluster of peculiar creatures from Llamaland… Created by Western Australian artist Rose Skinner, these strange beings are a symbol of adaptation and evolution, offering your imagination a journey to a place of fantasy and adventure where anything is possible.

Wander further into this constructed wonderland where Western Australian artist Minaxi May invites you into a shimmering play-time paradise, erupting with a kaleidoscopic array of colour, fun and form.

Explore a little more and come across a bizarre machine that generates fleeting rings of smoke that disappear into the surrounding city-scape, created by Marley Dawson.

Avid adventurers will find the country within the city. Western Australia artist Hayley Bahr’s reflection of the regional is brought to life through an amazing artwork that brims with nostalgia, memories and identity.

Feel free to get lost inside or stare back through the constructed foliage to the city beyond, right in the heart of the Perth CBD.
