Aliwah Bardinar!
Good things come to those who wait!
From the multi-award-winning composers of Wanjoo and Koolbardi wer Wardong, Gina Williams, and Guy Ghouse comes a new children’s production - Aliwah Bardinar! (Look-out Rosella!). The performance celebrates the nyttiny (creation) story of how the Bardinar (Western Rosella) got its colours.
Featuring inspired set design by Fiona Bruce, vibrant costumes by Michelle Ward, gorgeous puppets, vivacious choreography, and original new music, audiences will be entranced by the cheeky frog, the elegant swan, and the beauty of the Noongar language.
Aliwah Bardinar! will be performed by Gina Williams & Guy Ghouse alongside phenomenal artists Jarred Wall & Julianna Marie, UWA Musical Theatre students and the Aquinas College Schola Cantorum, conducted by Pia Harris and directed by Matt Reuben James Ward.
